Heartbroken that I missed one of my oldest friends viewings and memorials. I really wish people communicated using something other  than Facebook. I wish we had caught that Caps game this season like we talked about. Can’t believe I didn’t get to say goodbye. I’ve been missing you for a long time, but I guess we just won’t be remedying that anymore. I’ll be thinking about all those nights the two of us wandered around Fells point and the harbor getting into trouble just the two of us. Or those times you me and Brian would travel down to the city together. Spend the evening just talking. Hard to believe both of you are gone now. I’m sorry I didn’t visit you sooner. Love you always. 

Matt will be missed at Davita-Bel Air.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. 

Matt- you will be missed by all. I always enjoyed our neighborly chats about grilling, the weather, and growing tomatoes and peppers and your little pet turtle. I saw your struggles, battles won and lost, and your endurance. May you rest easy and share your gardening and culinary skills with your fellow angels. Until we meet again!

I was lucky enough to finally go  to a Capitals game down in DC with Matt. We got to watch the Caps come back and win in a shootout.  I remember the absolute joy that Matt had that night and am so glad that I got to experience it with him. 

Matt , where do we begin grew up playing very competitive baseball with you and lots of other people in the Edgewood area you made me drink green alcohol and I had no idea what the fuck I was drinking. You’re the only picture I ever called in my entire baseball career and it was a mistake from the start. I thought it be OK to  catch your ball with my bare hands. That was a mistake as if he knew Matt he threw the ball hard as fuck and shit. He tried to connect with me many years ago and I was in the mist of my life and I didn’t give the time and concern that I should’ve when you expressed it, I’m glad that you’re not feeling pain anymore my friend and I hope you’re having a lovely time playing wiffleball and baseball in heaven, my friend until we see each other again, thank you for being a friend

Oh Matt, where should I begin??? You were so good at keeping in touch with people who mattered to you and I will be sure to carry that on.  You were my first boy that picked on me in 4th grade pulling my pony tails, the first to stand up for me, and the first to tell me I was pretty on that class list!!! You convinced me to learn culinary arts. I never would admit you were a better chef but that was our thing. I know you're finally free of pain and you fought every step which I admire about you. You will be greatly missed by everyone. You're one of 2 that knew my dad so I hope he takes you under his wing like you did for me.  Until we met again my friend..... love always,  Erica

Matt It’s killing me knowing you are no longer here with us but I’m so glad knowing you are free from pain and suffering you truly were a fighter until the end. I miss you dearly and I hold so many of our great memories close to my heart.  Until we meet again I love you my brother ❤️.

We are so sad that you are gone; but we know you are free of pain and suffering finally. 

Jason really enjoyed all your crabbing adventures together last summer on the boat; he will especially cherish those times; you guys always had a blast out there at Flying Point.  He will be sure to keep you with him in spirit out there this summer; maybe you can help him out up there to catch a lot more crabs this year! I know you’ll be there laughing at him struggling to pull up the crab pots; I guess now I’ll have to help him do it lol

We hope you are happy and free finally!  You will be greatly missed but NEVER forgotten. We send prayers and love to your entire family. Rest easy Matt! 🙏🏽🫶🏼
