Please accept me sincere condolences and know my thoughts and prayers are with the Molloy family and friends. I met Mark back in 2009 when I transitioned from the military to work at ASI Government. He was always so kind and helpful to ensure that everyone was successful. We enjoyed plenty of laughs about our high school rivalry (City-Poly), but lived with the deepest and most profound respect for each other. Mark always made it a point to send me a note every now and then to see how I was doing. He was an optimist at heart, but I will surely remember him by the three things that kept a smile on his face: His family, soccer, and a Big Gulp. Rest well my friend and God Bless.  

Mark was a class act.  I had the privilege and pleasure of working with Mark for 8 years while at ASI.  Mark was such a professional and watching out for everyone on the team. We kept in touch after we both left ASI - looking for opportunities to partner on.   

He was so proud of his family and he wanted to make sure they would have whatever they needed.

I will miss hearing his 'Hey Lis' when he called to check in with me.  He was always positive and looked at the big picture in all situations.  I hope heaven has Big Gulps!  We will all miss Mark deeply.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark for several years.  He was a wonderful person to know both professionally and personally.  Mark was the type of person who could never do too much to help and always did it in a kind, friendly way.  I will miss talking to him very much and am very sorry for your great loss.  Please accept my deepest condolences.

He was the consummate professional - cheerful, thoughtful, and always taking on difficult and complicated tasks and surpassing expectations.  

Without Mark’s dedication, we would not have achieved the success that we have.  His ability to grow a new program, to constantly make improvements and coach others - made a difference! 

Mr. Mark was a decent, kind, intelligent, and good natured man who loved his family.  Michael and Rachel are a true testament to his life.  I always enjoyed the time we spent together.  Deepest heartfelt sympathy to Mrs Joanne and family. Keep your faith in Jesus and the promises He has made to us.  


I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Mark’s passing. I met Mark 40 years ago at Crosstown Liqours. He was a great coworker. He was very personable and always had a kind word. A great sense of humor coupled with that smile. He was simplistic, diplomatic, no nonsense and had a great deal of common sense. He was a hard worker, including selling those Sunday Papers at MPB. He was a family man with a plan in life. He was a great guy and fun to be around. I hadn’t seen Mark for a long time. About a year ago we ran into each other at Mastellone’s and spent a few minutes playing catch up, I’m so glad we did. It’s moments like this, that make us realize just how precious life really is.

Please accept my condolences. I worked with Mark for a couple of years at NOAA as a member of the IMSolutions team. Mark had a tremendous sense of humor, was friendly, and always willing to help and offer his ideas on matters that came up on various projects.  It was my pleasure to have known him.

Mike, I was very sorry to read of your Dad's sudden passing.  I extend my deepest sympathy to you, your Mom, your sister, your grandmother, and other family members during this extremely difficult time.  May God send you His comfort now and in the days ahead. My memories of Mark go back a long way.  He was a terrific guy who was always happy.  Growing up in the same neighborhood, elementary school at MPB, scouts, a Poly man and dates with our future wives, Mark always had a kind word and fun to be around.  Jane and I are saddened by your unexpected passing.

My condolences to Mark's family.  I worked with Mark at NOAA.  He had a positive attitude, a ready smile, and enjoyed his work.  I valued his advice and counsel.  His contributions to NOAA were significant and lasting.  He was someone I just liked to be around; I know others felt the same way.  Being around Mark, whether at lunch or in a meeting, I felt good.  When I think of Mark, I see him smiling.  He touched my life and made it better.  I will remember him for that.

I’m deeply saddened to hear of Mark’s passing. I worked with Mark at NOAA for only a year but even in that short time it became obvious that he was truly a good person. So many stopped by to speak with Mark because he was so easy to speak with and genuinely cared for what you had to say. He’ll definitely be missed by many.

I am honored and blessed to have known Mark , both as a teammate on the field  and more importantly as a true friend. He was truly a blessing in my life and I will miss him. My condolences.

I have to say that I am still shocked by the loss of Mark.  I almost called him this morning about work.  Often we would plan the day's work in the morning.  He was always there and always had great ideas and advice.  I have worked with Mark over so many years and in so many places, DHS, NIH, and NOAA. Every place he left better than how he found it.  He appreciated competency and professionalism in others, and exuded it himself.   Everyone loved having Mark on a project because you knew it was going to get done correctly and timely.  God knows he loved his family and I know his family loved him (esp when he brought home the pizza on pizza night).  I've never met a more serious family man.  His  family was his world, and everyone around him knew it.  You could not find a more loyal and caring friend; I am so lucky to be able to say he was my friend, and I miss him terribly already. 

I worked with Mark for a few years on a daily basis.  More recently, before covid, I would see Mark once a quarter at a group meeting.  Mark was a wonderful person.  He worked hard, he was smart, and he had a good sense of humor.  My kids played travel soccer and he and I had multiple discussions about soccer.  We enjoyed sharing soccer stories and life stories about our families.  He was a very, very good person.  I am shocked and saddened by his passing.  My condolences go to his entire family.

Mark was a former Board member and long-time friend of the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association. His contributions to the game of soccer are countless and he will truly be missed.

I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Mark.  As you grieve, please know that I am remembering and honoring him.  Mark was my cubicle 'neighbor' for the past four years, and prior to the Pandemic, we'd chat daily about a multitude of topics.  I'll remember Mark as the man with an 'always full' Big Gulp of Diet Coke, and a great attitude.  Someone you could go to with a work question, and he never made you feel small, always willing to assist, and very knowledgeable.  My heartfelt condolences to the family. 

I worked with Mark for over 6 years. He was always very kind, welcoming and full of wisdom. I will miss him yelling "HEY, SCOTTIE!!!!!!" and his giant big gulps from 7-11. He is terribly missed.
