On Monday, September 13, 2021, Kim found his way to eternal peace. Born in Manila, The Philippines, he was welcomed into his American family in 1980. Kim was known by so many as a beautiful friend, mentor, advocate, and protector. He supported many individuals in their fight for sobriety, and volunteered countless hours for the organizations which promoted Clean Living. He was accomplished in Martial Arts but was most proud of becoming an ordained minister so he could officiate at his brother, Nate’s wedding.
Kim is survived by His parents, Charlotte and Ross Oteyza, his Soulmate Karen Clark and her children Preston and Olivia, Sisters Lisa Marie Grzybowski (David), and Angela Eisenacher (Tony), brothers Paul Martin and Nate Oteyza (April), Nephew Gavin Martin (Lauren), Nieces Genevieve Grzybowski, Savannah Cash, Seraphina Oteyza, Great-Nieces Evelyn and Eleanor Martin, and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where a memorial service will be held at 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to:
