Kathleen H. “Kitty” McCormick, age 92, of Long Green, MD, passed away on September 29, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. McCormick, Jr.; devoted mother of John McCormick, III, Kathleen Carr, Eileen Hinder and her husband Jeffrey, and Patrick McCormick and his wife Carey; loving grandmother of Margaret McCormick, Matthew Carr and his wife Morgan, Katie Trest and her husband Ben, William Hinder and his wife Ashley, Sarah Wilson and her husband Weston, Kevin Hinder and his fiancé Kendall Cochran, Kelly Dormer and her husband Alec, and Colleen McCormick O’Keefe and her husband Thomas; cherished great-grandmother of Anna Carr, Joseph Carr, Caleb Carr, Elijah Trest, August Wilson, and Blythe Wilson; dear sister of the late Frances Hildebrand; beloved aunt of Russell Hildebrand and Beth Eaton and her husband Ray.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on, Monday October 14, 2024, at 10 A.M., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (Hydes, MD). Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kathleen’s name to the ALS Association at www.als.org
