On November 5, 2020 Karl Sebastian Hoopes passed away; beloved husband of Deborah E. Hoopes (nee Punko); devoted father of Keith G. Hoopes, and Karen M. Aquia and her husband Tony; cherished grandfather of Matthew Hoopes and Aiden Aquia; loving great-grandfather of Arabella Hoopes, and one on the way; dear brother of James Hoopes, Lisa Marcellino, and the late Maria Frisby. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Karl was an US Army Veteran, and served in Vietnam, he was a longtime employee of University of MD, Biology Lab, a neighborhood computer expert, a pen maker, and an all-around jokster.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Stephen Catholic Church (Bradshaw). Interment private.
