John Urban Fischer Jr.

John U. Fischer, Jr of Forest Hill , Maryland passed away peacefully on May 28, 2024 at the age of 75. He was surrounded by his family. John was born to J. Urban Fischer and Agatha C. Ruck on September 14, 1948 in Baltimore.

After graduation from high school, John attended Baltimore Institute taking courses in Business Management. He held supervisory and management positions throughout his career and also excelled in sales positions due to his natural skills in selling and great sense of humor.

He married Sandra Elizabeth Link in 1969 and was a devoted father to their son, Stephen. John was an avid English Sports car enthusiast and owned several classic sports cars.

John was survived by his wife, Sandra E. (Link) DiGennaro, son Stephen J. Fischer, daughter in law Anna B. (DiFatta) Fischer and grandchildren Michael and Sophia. Sisters Carolyn (Fischer) Ludwig and brother in law, Harry, and Jean (Fischer) Case as well as several nieces & nephews, and cousins.
