On October 13, 2022, Joan M. Hooper (nee Mattheiss) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late William Allen Hooper Jr.; devoted mother of Andrea J. Hooper; dear sister of Karol M. Ashbrook and her husband Owen, and sister-in-law of Susan Vermeir; loving aunt of Jennifer Clarke, Heather Harris, Vicki Jutras and Sherri Schenkelberg.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, 610 W. MacPhail RD, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Monday, October 17, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Bel Air, MD at 11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be made in Joan’s name to The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, or The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation [JDRF].
