I am so sorry for your loss. I have been trying for a long time to track down James, especially in this world of technology. James and I were the best of friends beginning at Herring Run Jr High and then on to Northern HS. We were in the same homeroom and classes, we were lab partners in biology class and teammates playing lacrosse our senior year. In fact I'm looking at our team picture from 1972 as it's framed on my home office wall. James taught me about sports I didn'y know much about. He was an outstanding gymnast and I believe he was a member of a club called SOKOL(?). He was a fine soccer player and talked about Pele' being the most recognized athlete in the world.
But most of all he was a great friend, kind and gentle and I will never forget the time we caught the MTA bus going home across from Herring Run and the bus was running late. There were some woods near the bus stop and James decided to go in searching for animals. The bus came, I got on, took a seat and here comes James smiling. He sat on the same row as me across the aisle and said "Gerald, look what I got" and there was a bunny rabbit peaking out of his leather jacket. He loved animals and had a way with them, gentle and kind.
I can see from the pictures that he was a family man and that makes perfect sense to me. He was like a brother to me.

My prayers and condolences to Jame's family. James and I attended high school together at Northern. I also bought my first motorcycle from him, a 1968 Yamaha 180. James was a friend and a great classmate. So sorry to hear of his passing.

James was in my class at William Paca Elementary School #83 as well as in my class at Northern High School.  He was always one of the smartest in the class and he always got the highest test scores.  So sorry to learn of his passing.  Sympathy and condolence are extended to family and friends.

I worked with Jim for many years at Spring Gardens (BGE).  He always had a smile on his face and a kind word.  My sympathy to the family.

Jim was a great guy to work with. It was always a good day when Jim was on our truck. I'm sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

Phyllis, Melissa, Derek, Abby, Connor, Angie and Chris - we continue to send our love, support, and hugs. Jamie was a kind cousin and we loved the way he was so proud of his girls and grand children.
