James W. Moore Sr.

On February 21, 2015, James William Moore, Sr. passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Rose A. (nee Shorb) Moore; dear father of Dennise M. Spiegel, Vandella M. Christ, Thomas M. Moore, Paul R. Moore, Charles E. Moore and John J. Moore and the late James W. Moore, Jr.; devoted brother of the late Josephine Friese and Marie Jones and the late Jay Moore, Jr., Paul Moore and Gilbert Moore; he is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 West MacPhail Road (at Rte 24) on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Francis de Sales Church, Abingdon on Thursday at 10:30 am; further visitation will be held at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, PA on Friday from 10 to 12 noon at which time a graveside service will be held at the St. Andrew Church Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA .
