On April 28, 2023, George John Wolf passed away at the age of 93.
He was the beloved husband of Marjorie Evelyn Wolf; devoted father of Janice Kroeger, Joyce Gapinski, Judith Wolf Noori, her husband Majid, George F. Wolf, his wife Allison; loving grandfather of Kenneth Kroeger, Douglas Kroeger, Arman Noori; predeceased by his siblings William, Irma, Llewellyn and Monford.
George has been married to his bride Margie who he dearly loved since March 19, 1955.
George was a long-standing member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Joppa, Maryland.
George loved following sports, especially the Ravens, Orioles and Terps, which he frequently like to watch with his son George when he was visiting him.
He also loved horseracing and enjoyed spending time with his brother Mont at Pimlico Racetrack.
George loved Italian food and frequented Bacco’s and Liberatore’s restaurants. He also loved crab cakes and especially enjoyed the jumbo lump cakes made for him with love by his son.
He enjoyed going shopping at the local grocery stores and made friends with the workers. They all knew Mr. George, there wasn’t anyone he didn’t talk to. He also loved living in their apartment at Parkview where he enjoyed their church services, playing bingo and just plain talking to his neighbors.
He dearly loved his kids and his grandsons.
Friends and relatives are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd., Bel Air MD 21014 on Friday May 5th, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
