Amanda and family,

I am deeply saddened to hear of the sudden loss of Evan.  My heart goes out to you and your entire family.  I pray for strength as you face each day.  Prayers to you Amanda and your family.

I have no clue even how to put my shock into words. I heard about this young boys passing at a graduation party. It made several families leave in despair. I never realized how much someone’s passing could  affect so many people. Hope he rests in peace 

Hi, I don't know you personally but through co-workers have heard what an amazing little guy Evan was.  I am a mother myself and can not imagine what his parents and family are going through.  My thoughts and tears go out to the entire Snyder Family.

I met Evan in kindergarten and since then he has brought so much light to every classroom he's been in. He has always been the class clown creating so many amazing memories. He never failed to make me smile. We’ll miss you Evan❤️

Evan was truly such an amazing soul. He would make everyone laugh. He lit up the room as soon as he walked in. I have a very distinct memory of Evan from 6th grade science class. We were seated together and Evan had a mosquito bite on his arm. He jokingly said “oh my gosh…I got bit by a snake!” The whole class was cracking up laughing. I truly thank you, Amanda and Derrick for raising such a beautiful soul. He is truly missed so much. I am keeping you in my thoughts. We will miss Evan everyday. We will promise to keep his memory living. #20

I met Evan the beginning of his freshman year he came up to me at one of the jv boys soccer games and he asked me if i was nate’s sister and then asked if i would add him on snapchat to make nate mad. which was totally an evan thing to do. since then from soccer games to homecoming to just saying hi to eachother in the hallways evan has always made me laugh. I remember one night evan asked me if I liked him or nate more and i told him that he was just as much of a little brother to me as nate is. that still stands true to this day, i made sure to always check in and say hi when i saw him and the last time i heard from him he congratulated me on graduating. that’s the type of guy he was, he cared so much for others, he was funny but strong willed and so much more. his spirit will forever live on in the lives he’s touched

I don’t even know where to start, Evan was amazing in every way possible and everyone knows that. He never failed to put a smile on your face and he had the brightest most pure smile i have ever seen. Words cannot describe how i feel and i am praying for all of his family and close friends that they will one day be able to recover from this tragedy. Evan was one of the most funniest people i have ever met, he was just so positive all the time and he had no enemies, everyone loved evan and he deserves to be loved by everyone, if you ever had a chance to meet him or talk to him you are blessed because he is one of the most amazing human beings i have ever met. Me and Evan bonded and became friends through soccer and our love for the sport. At the beginning of Freshman year me and evan became close friends, playing soccer for c Milton, and pipeline together. He was one of the people to welcome me into my new team and I will never forget all of the long trips and plane rides with him over the last 2 years. He was a light in the world and always had a smile on his face. Evan always made me feel better when I was upset or not feeling myself and I loved every moment I spent with him. He was amazing and truly one of the best people I have every met.

Evan was such a fun person to be around. There was never a dull moment when you were with him, he was always doing the most random things, always making people laugh, and never failing to put a smile on my face. 

Evan was almost the most purest kid i knew, he always put smiles on everyone’s faces and he was always there for anyone to talk too. Evan was one  of the realest people i’ve ever met and i’ll love and miss him forever🫶.

Evan always brought a positive happy energy to every room he was in. We would always joke around in math as his goal was to get a better grade than me, which always failed. He even bet me $5 once he would get a better test grade and brought it in when he lost. He was a go-getter, an amazing listener, a friend to all, and the light in a dark room. I know his light will always shine.

Evan and I had been best friends our entire lives. Evan has always been a brother to me and has been there when I needed him. Evan was a very interesting man, knowing he had no common sense but was a genius when he was in school. Evan and I played for many soccer teams together, and no matter what, we would follow each other. We would always carpool together, and he would always make me laugh by making stupid faces or singing loud and proud. Evan moved to be my neighbor when we were in 4th grade, and I can’t forget how happy I was. Every day in the summer, we would play wiffleball in our front yard or play garage soccer. Also, we would go into the woods and build massive forts together. Evan was a very dramatic person, and I can’t forget when we were in my basement and he tripped over a pillow and thought he broke his leg. Evan is funny, hardworking, athletic, smart, and thoughtful. Evan was a loving person who made an impact on many people's lives. He would always light the room up when he walked in. Evan is one of a kind, and that’s what I loved about him. I'm going to miss him, and he will never be forgotten. I love you, Evan

As we’re preparing for an away game, Evan gave us a little tactical talk. He loved the sport and to mess around even in the most serious of situations. Your personality and character will always be in our hearts.

No matter the situation seemed, you would always light up the room and provide us with the laughter that we need. You're going to be missed, fly high Evan.

Evan was always smiling and one of the most vibrant and happy face at school. I loved playing soccer with him every time I got the chance to and enjoyed every second of it with him. He’s done so much to help me and I know he’s done even more to help the others. I hope you’re finding peace wherever you may be. Love you Ev

No matter how dark or hopeless the situation seemed, you would always light up the room and provide us with the glimmer of hope we needed. You’re going to be missed, fly high Ev.

I student taught Evan as a fourth grader.  I remember him being a vibrant soul.  He was hard working and always surrounded by a crowd of friends.  I vividly remember him sporting a soccer jersey and how how much he loved the game. Praying for peace for everyone that knew and loved him.  Holding his family close in prayer. 

Praying for the family.  Words cannot express how hurt I feel as a parent.  Find peace if you can.  Live for him and let him know you are ALWAYS there.  Speak to him often.  

Evan would always bring so much energy into a room and lighten everyone’s day. He was always saying jokes and never failed to make me laugh or smile. One of my favorite memories with Evan was in English class. We were supposed to be working on a book project but instead we talked about marathons the entire class. Evan was making bets on how fast each of us could run one and who would finish first. He was a very kind and loving person that you could always count on to be there when you needed someone most. He will always be remembered. Thank you for being such a great friend Evan. Rest easy.

I will remember Evan for the rest of my life. Since I met him in 7th grade he was always nice, funny, and outgoing, always making people laugh. He was always cracking jokes and keeping people in a good mood. He was one of the best friends anyone could ever ask for.

During class he stole $20 from my phone case and didn’t give it back until after the school day ended. He said he wanted to take a .5 picture of him and Grayson in his goggles, and I was scared that once I received my phone back my $20 would be missing again, fortunately it was not. 

There are no words that can be used to fully describe Evan. He was a kind soul, super good at any sport he played and extremely smart. Evan lit up every room that he stepped foot in, and never failed to make me smile. One of my favorite memories with Evan is A4 Chemistry. He would always throw erasers at the head of the person sitting in front of him, squirt water on people walking past, and making jokes and the funniest time. Evan was loved by everyone. He was such an understanding person to talk to and I will forever be grateful for the time I got to spend with my best friend. Evan made such an impact on the lives of everyone he met. Thank you for everything Evan.

Even at age 3, it was obvious that Evan was going to continue to leave a special impression on everyone he met. There was no mistaking his infectious giggle.
As his first teacher, I knew Evan to be a sweet little boy who was so kind. He loved playing soccer and being with his friends at school. It is apparent, from looking at these beautiful pictures, that Evan continued his love at 16.

Our Friendsgiving flag football game was such a fun time, it was very competitive but we all laughed a lot and just enjoyed everyone’s company.

Evan wasn't only a great teammate, he was a great friend. One of my favorite memories with Evan is lunchtime at school. Our table would sit there every day talking about all our ideas for the next soccer season. Evan would always talk about where he wanted to play and where he thought everyone else should play. We talked about it so much that after a while, we just ended up repeating ourselves every week. Even though we probably went through the same ideas and tactics over a hundred times, I still looked forward to getting to sit down with Evan and the rest of the guys every day to just talk. I am so thankful that I was able to get to know Evan and I am going to miss him so much.

Dear Evan,
          I will remember you for the rest of my life. It was devastating to hear about such a kind person passing. My birthday today just didn’t feel the same without you in this world. Can’t ever think of a time where you weren’t positive and laughing alongside me. We shared so many great memories together. I pray that you are in a better place now. 

I remember being at practice, trying to decide penalty kick takers and Evan and I were off to the side watching the Man U game together on my phone.
