On January 25, 2017, Donald Joseph Murphy, beloved husband of Kathryn "Kay" Murphy (nee Frey), devoted father of Kathleen Murphy and her husband Eric Berghold, loving grandfather of Jennifer and Michael Berghold, dear brother of Mercedes Slates, Lois Britton, and Richard Murphy. Also survived by other family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, on Saturday from 2-4 pm, where a funeral service will be held at 4 pm. Interment at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 405 Williams Court, Middle River, MD 21220, or the Senator Bob Hooper House, 2007 Klein Plaza Drive Forest Hill, MD 21050.
