On February 21, 2023 Dennis Hardwick passed away. He was the beloved husband of nearly 35 years, of Lisa Hardwick (nee McGarrity); devoted father of Kaitlyn Hardwick and her fiancé Jake Rockefeller; cherished son of the late Sonny and Bonnie Hardwick; dear brother of Steve Hardwick (Susan), Rick Hardwick, Debbe Smith (Adam); loving son-in-law of Edward and Grace McGarrity; loving brother-in-law of Tim McGarrity (Cathy); cherished uncle of Natasha, Alisha, Breanna, Sierra, Bailey, Colby, Brandon, Austin, Sean, and Connor. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
In 2005, he started his own company, North East Tile and Marble it became a thriving, successful business. Through this, he made lifelong friends that started as coworkers. In his free time he enjoyed golfing and riding on the boat in Florida, with friends and family.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014, on Tuesday February 28, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Dennis’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or to the Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation to support Cancer LifeNet at the Kaufman Cancer Center, 520 Upper Chesapeake Dr, Suite 405 Bel Air, MD 21014.
