It was july 4th and i called you to tell you i was outside. You were so happy to see me and nick. you pulled me out the car and told me how happy you were to see me and how much you loved me. I spent the whole night with chris and it was one of the best nights of my life. The last thing you said to me was “ i love you tyler” chris you were my protector i’ll always remember you making sure i knew that you had my back. i was safe when i was with you. Seeing you at school would light up my day. I was the only freshman you really talked to and that made me feel so special that you took me under your wing. You care for others so much and always know how to make people smile. I’ll miss all the random hugs you would give me. You are a genuine and loving person . My condolences go out to chris family and friends. May you rest in piece chris.

So senseless and heart wrenching, I am so sorry for Chris' family as they must endure this nightmare. I only met Chris briefly, was almost his baseball coach but knew his #1 passion was football & understood why he chose not to play. So full of life and larger than life as his physical size stood out among the crowd. I pray every day for your soul and for your loving family.  Rest in everlasting peace with the Lord. 

My grandson,  Ben Bagley and his mom have wonderful memories of your son, brother, friend , Loved one! And, I understand he was so loved and such an incredible young man. I am so sorry He is no longer here but I know that he will be always around  because of the wonderful memories "gave" to all those he touched.

I remember him playing the trumpet with Tommy and I, making jokes as school and whenever we hung out. I went to his football games and my family even remember how funny he was.

It has been difficult to pick a favorite memory of Chris, every single one I can think of brings a huge smile to my face. All our beach trips, ice cream runs, and adventures with Kenna and Kyle were some of my favorite memories I’ve ever made. One that came to my mind today because of the rain was going to laser tag at the beach. It was pouring but the boys wanted to do something “that they chose” because it had been “all about the girls”, so of course we reluctantly went but it was so much fun. We walked with trash bags around us with a hole for our heads and made it work, Ms. Tina always has the best ideas. Now today it is one of my best memories, after we went to Justine’s for ice cream and Chris always tried a new flavor. He always wanted to have fun, always be spontaneous, and now I will try to live my life in that way as best as I can because he was always happy, and that smile and laugh I will never forget. I wish I could give him one more bear hug, Chris you are missed so immensely it is indescribable🤍

I met chris when i was a manager of the football team my sophomore year. He was always making everyone laugh and always smiling. He was always so nice to me and he always asked how i was. I wish nothing but the best for his family and everyone. He will be missed so much❤️

Chris was a brother from another mother. Chris would protect me if I ever needed him and he would always be there for me. I will miss Chris’s laugh but I will never forget it. I will never forget all of the memories me and him made. Chris, Rest In Peace big guy, I’m gonna miss you and I love you.

Thinking back to the day we went to lunch and despite the lack of entertainment at the restaurant.. we had the best entertainment in town right at our table.  One thing was for sure, laughs and smiles were always guaranteed with you around.  Rest easy Chris!!

Chris was always a good person to be around. I've known Chris sense elementary school and he always new how to make me and others laugh no matter the situation I wish nothing but the best for his family ❤️

Chris was the kind of person to make everyone’s face light up when he walked into the room. I never saw him mad or upset, he always had a big smile on his face. Chris has given me countless memories that I will never forget like goofing around while playing basketball, walking the boardwalk with him and Jack, him eating an entire pizza and then getting sick in my basement after the 8th grade dance, and even us just hanging out doing nothing. When I was with Chris I knew it was going to be a good time. I’ll miss making those memories with him our senior year.

We only knew Christopher as a small child, but are proud to realize what an amazing person he grew to be.  The testimonials for Chris show what a kind, caring person he became.  To have made such a lasting impact on so many people speaks volumes about his remarkable character and ensures the sweet memories he will leave.  God bless Christopher and his family and surround them with love.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Chris but if his contagious laugh, ability to make others smile, and zest for life is anything like his mother’s…then the world was blessed!  💙

I remember when Chris and I played little league baseball together and he chose me to be his throwing partner. Before every single game we would throw each other pop flies to see who could catch more and we’d call it our pop fly competition. Chris would beat me every single time and we’d talk about it and laugh the next morning on the bus ride to school. For all of middle school Chris was someone who I could joke around with and I felt I could depend on whenever I needed to. I felt as if there was nothing that Chris wouldn’t do for me and there was nothing I wouldn’t do for him. He was the best friend I could’ve possibly asked for. Rest in paradise Kerfoot.

The pictures attached are of Spencer's 17th birthday.  We just loved Chris and his sweet, funny personality.   He always made a special point of saying hello and chat with us when he came to swim or hang in the basement with the gang.  Our family is just heart broken for the loss of this sweet young man.  We are truly going to miss him.  Our prayers are with his family.

Chris was the boy who protected others lives like his depended on it, It felt like he was determined to make sure there was always a smile on everyone’s face. I was always so excited to hear you were riding my bus in middle school because i knew we would finally have a fun bus ride home for the week. You treated me and Anthony like siblings & was there when no one else was. Thank you for being you, you’re already so missed. Your name will live on forever through memories and close bonds you’ve created with others. Prayers to the Kerfoot family.

Every single memory with Chris was one I will remember for ever. I had known him since middle school and quickly became close with him freshman year in art class. Everyday we would get in trouble for laughing or goofing around. He could change every bad day into a good one. His laugh was contagious to the point where we would be laughing for no reason. Chris made everyone feel so safe and comfortable. He was such a kind soul to everyone, quickly became friends with a student with autism, Brandon in our class. Brandon loved Chris, he would smile as soon as Chris walked into the room and give him a huge hug. I will never forget his kidness and love for everyone. My love and prayers go out to your family. When my son Ben (Bagley) started middle school at BAMS he would speak often of Chris.  They were in several classes together and this continued into high school. Once I met Chris it was so apparent why Ben spoke of him so often and loved him so much. Chris was full of life, love and laughter. My sweet, sweet Christopher. Your laugh, your infectious smile, your ability to light up a room is one of a kind. You have been a son to me for so many years now starting with Brandon and Zach being teammates, playing baseball and football, then you and Luke. And then after Brandon died last year, we became even closer. Your Mom would always check on me, stop by to just sit and talk, or pick me up and make me go out. You and Luke became inseparable. You would Face-time him and he would bring me the phone. I would see your smiling face and you said Hi Mrs. Tania in a silly voice I will never forget. We would talk for a few minutes and then he went on his way still talking to you. You don’t know this, but every time I heard your voice and saw your face, you would get me out of whatever funk I was in and make me smile even when I didn’t want to 

You were a good friend, son, and brother to our family and I will NEVER forget you. I know Brandon greeted you at those gates and you two are now together forever, being silly and doing stupid shenanigans up there, just like you two did down here. One of many favorite memories of chris and i were just driving around having random deep conversations on life and our perspectives of things. I loved every time we would go hangout with people or just drive around that i would give him my phone to play a random song and some how we would end up driving around bel air in a car on max volume every single time. When it was a song that we both knew it was the best feeling ever because we would take turns singing the lines and that just made me so happy. to many more fun nights of messing around with the boys❤️ love you forever buddy🖤 97

I can still hear the voice in my mind of little Chris when he was 4 years old asking me when I would enter the house, "What are you doing here?" He sounded like a little gnome. It always made us laugh. I remember he would climb all over me and he didn't even really know me at the time. This spoke volumes, even at that age, of his affection and love towards others. 

Many times in life when tragedy strikes, we question God, but we must remember that His wisdom far surpasses ours and He can bring good from anything, even tragedy. We may not always see it at first but one day we shall. Christopher lives with God now and though his family and friends miss him dearly, he is in the Arms of God... and nothing could be better than that for him. Until we meet again young lad...pray for us all down here. We love you and miss you.

Chris was one of the easiest going people I had ever meant. He would make me laugh by acting silly. I remember how embarrassed he got when I caught him singing in the car going to lunch at the market. Chris, You will be dearly missed. 

Our first meeting Christopher was when he was 4 years old. Running around the pool area with his brothers. That's when we became a family with Amy and her boys. We became Nonna  and Pop when Jeff married our Sweetheart Amy. Christopher was this funny, lovable, adorable little man. As he got older he was a gentle giant, that loved his family .  He brought us his (stepgrandparents) so much respect, it was always a happy time to be with him. He was always interacting with his brothers, joking around, and sitting on his mama's lap making us laugh. You will be missed Christopher. May you rest in the arms of God, and may the blessed mother comfort you. We love you, Christopher. 💕

Everytime I saw Chris he’d always make me laugh or smile, there was never a time I saw him and I didn’t leave almost falling on the floor laughing. He was the type of guy to make a bad day disappear, Chris always gave me a giant hug and always put his arm around me when he saw me sitting alone or mad or anything that isn’t happy. He was truly a comforting soul.

I really don’t have a memory because I did not know Chris. When I heard about his passing from the news it really hit me hard. I can’t begin to express how very sorry I am.   Always know Chris will be with you in your heart and I’m your memories . God bless 💕.

Some of my favorite childhood memories are with Chris and I was so devastated to hear of his passing. I have a lot of memories, like finding him at this random fishing pond and Chris, McKenna and I competing on who could catch the most fish, but my favorite one was at the Crab Bag in Ocean City when we went down with the Reichard’s. They have a huge burger and fries challenge meal that you can get a free dessert if you eat it all, of course Chris finished it and made sure everyone around us knew that he won. Chris could literally light up any room that he walked into. I can’t find any pictures from when we were younger, but one I do have is from when he stole my phone and took a bunch of selfies on it. Fly high, Chris. ❤️

Chris always pushed me to play the line not only with quick feet and strength but with the support of a teammate and a true friend who made every moment fun and long lasting. The football field this season will feel empty without Chris there with me. I already miss my buddy more than words can say.  -Tommy Martino

My boys went to school with Zach and Chris thru HWES and BAMS.  Daniel with Zach and Luke with Chris.  I remember Zach always looking after his little brother; had his arm around him and making sure he was alright. I remember thinking man I wish my Daniel looked after his little brother Luke like that.  It’s the first thought that came to mind when I heard the horrible news; how close those brothers are and what great kids.  My prayers go out to you all for this terrible loss.
