Chester "Chet" Lee Ruby Jr., age 75, of Darlington, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Margaret Anne; devoted father of Tricia Brown, Jennifer & Mike Mister, Angela Ruby, Chet Ruby; dear brother of Donna Powell, Wayne Ruby, Patti Braun; loving grandfather of Heidi & Gavin Abhyankar, Jordan, Riley, & Kendall Brown, Alex, Mia, & Blake Ruby, Autumn & Kyria Mister, Ronald & Micah Savage; adoring great grandfather of Zephyr & Oakley Heuer; also survived by many relatives and friends.
A receiving of friends for Chet will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014. A wake and memorial gathering will take place on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 12:00 PM at VFW Post 10146, 3440 Conowingo Road, Street, MD 21154.
