Ron Eck

Ron Eck 77, of Beech Grove, passed away January 11, 2020. Ron was involved with Beech Grove Little League for over 25 years. He gave much of his time to leading the youth of the Beech Grove community. Along with coaching basketball, he loved woodworking, yard work and camping. Ron was a loving father and grandpa. He is survived by his children; Tonya Mitchell, Rita (Robert) Flack, Janice Burch, and Scott (Lori) Eck, along with many grandchildren. He is also survived by his son-in-law; Steve Overbey siblings; Leonard "Bud" Eck and Mary Lou (Arthur) Lady, along with his four legged friend Lucy. Ron was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years; Linda Eck, daughter; Lisa Overbey, brother; Raymond Eck, sister; Beverly Hoff, sister-in-law; Nancy Eck and Toby Eck. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions in Ron's honor to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 12:00pm with one hour of visitation before the service. Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery. www.littleandsonsbeechgrove.com
