Nancy Ethel Davis

88, of Connersville, formerly of Indianapolis departed this life on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Hickory Creek Assisted Living. She was born July 30, 1934 in Indianapolis to the late William S. & Anna Lorrine (Wilkerson) Bell. She lived in Indianapolis for 85 years before moving to Connersville in 2020 to be closer to family. Nancy worked in the radiology department for Community East Hospital for 37 year.

Nancy was a longtime member of The Order of The Eastern Star, Lawrence Chapter # 384 where she had served as Secretary for nine years and as Worthy Matron in 1990.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband in 1985, Harvey Davis, whom she married on August 16, 1961; children, LoAnn Davis, Hugh Davis and Randy Hollinger.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Nancy (Russell) Hollinger Ruf; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Nancy will be held on Thursday, June 1st at 11:00am at New Bethel - Orchard Hill Cemetery in Wanamaker, Indiana.
