Margaret Alice Abbott, age 95, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024.
She was born December 13, 1928, to the late Lawrence and Alice Richmond, in Chicago, Illinois.
Margaret was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years Louis William Abbott and her brother James Richmond.
Margaret is survived by her son Lou (Annette) Abbott Jr.; her son David (Kristi) Abbott; her son Richard (Sue) Abbott; and her son Randy (Vickie) Abbott; her sister Elizabeth Richmond, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Margaret was a proud member of Christ Lutheran Church for 50 years and a longtime member and volunteer of the Beech Grove Public Library. She was an active member of the Beech Grove Senior Citizens until her passing.
A public visitation for Margaret will be held Monday, October 7, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Margaret will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10612 E Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
