John C. Stahley, 89, passed away on February 17, 2011 in Forest Creek Village, Indianapolis.
John was born in Ripley County to the late John and Helen Stahley. He was a veteran of the US Navy in WWII. After the war, he became a tool and dye maker, working for Chrysler for 33 years.
John was preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara.He is survived by his six children; Dean, Randy(Sharon), Wayne(Margie), Jerry(Rosie), John Jr.(Lee Ann) and Wendy Recchio.John is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.Friends may call on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at Little and Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church, Batesville, IN.Burial in St. Louis Cemetery, Batesville.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.www.littleandsonsbeechgrove.com
