73, of Beech Grove, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010. He was born December 30, 1936 in Nashville, TN to the late Willie and Lillie Smith. CJ worked at General Motors, Local 933, for 20 years until his retirement in 1998. He volunteered much of his time to Fairbanks and Holy Name Catholic Church, of which he was a member. CJ is survived by his loving wife, Ann Smith; children, Michael Morgan, Patricia Cantrell, Cathy Gray, Hon. Debra S. Jenkins, and Steven Morgan; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Little & Sons Beech Grove Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Name Catholic Church/St. Vincent de Paul Society.
