Carol Jean Bateman

Carol Jean Bateman, 84, of Indianapolis, Indiana entered into rest on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Carol was born February 21, 1938 to the late Walter and Margaret Agnew in Indianapolis. She could often be found outside working in her yard or driving around checking out yard sales in the area. Carol loved her dogs and she enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions. She had quite the green thumb and her yard always looked spectacular. Carol will be forever missed by so many.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence D. Bateman.

Carol is survived by her children, Cathy Barton, Karen Beaman, and Mark D. Bateman; brother, Morris W. Agnew (USN Retired); 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home- Beech Grove, 1301 Main St., Beech Grove, IN 46107. Burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery.
