William Harvey Morgan

Born September 1, 1941 in Baileysville, WV; he was the son of the late Demosco and Florence Phillips Morgan.

William worked in the coal mines and was known by many as the “Dispatcher”.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Seth Radcliffe; great-granddaughter, Hannah Radcliffe; four sisters, and two brothers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 60 years, Judilee Morgan; daughter, Katrenna Martin and husband, Dwayne of Shady Spring; grandson, J.R. Mink and wife, Brittanie Mink of Shady Spring; daughter, Angela Radcliffe and husband, Mark of Shady Spring; grandson, Joshua Radcliffe of Shady Spring; grandson, Seth Radcliffe of Shady Spring; granddaughter, Bethany Radcliffe DeGrave of Shady Spring; grandson, Caleb Radcliffe of Shady Spring; grandson, Isaac Radcliffe, of Shady Spring; grandson, Judah Radcliffe of Shady Spring; daughter, Kathy Burgess and husband, Millard of Shady Spring; grandson, Michael Laxton and wife, Jessica of Shady Spring; grandson, Wil Laxton and wife, Amy of Beckley; grandson, Kaid Laxton of Beckley; granddaughter, Hali Laxton of Florida; son, William R. Morgan and wife, Kimberly of Beckley; grandson, William Chase Morgan; granddaughter, Kendall B. Morgan (Gill) and husband, Jonathon of Beaver; grandson, Kaleb Robertson of Beckley; grandson, Trevor Robertson of Beckley; grandson, Joshua Perone of Beckley; granddaughter, Alissah Morgan of Beckley; grandson, Levi Morgan of Beckley; grandson, Malakhi Morgan of Beckley; grandson, Luke Morgan of Beckley; granddaughter, Aleeyah Morgan of Beckley; and grandson, Isaiah Morgan of Beckley; numerous great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of William Harvey Morgan will be held 2:00PM Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley. Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers. Following the services William will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

Friends may gather with the family from 6:00PM until 9:00PM Saturday at the funeral home.
