i’m so sorry to hear about Lee, he was my kids bus driver for a long time and helped with football games when my boy went to Liberty, he truly was a nice man. I’m so sorry Lori, i cant imagine how youre feeling! my condolences go out to you and his other family. -Heather (Jared Baldwin’s mom)

I have had the pleasure of working with Lee since he began his training as a bus operator.   Lee was always kind, respectful, and in good spirits.  The entire room would brighten up when he walked in.   The Lord in heaven must have wanted Lee to come home to be with him.  God bless.

Lee was one of my best buss drivers that I have ever had! This really breaks my heart into pieces right now😭😭😭 I was just talking about him to my best friends just the other day and now this happens… I’m so sorry to all his friends and family he will be always missed and talked about with his story’s that I can remember of..😞

We were so shocked to hear the passing of Lee. When my girls got off the bus and had told us the news. They really enjoyed him being their bus driver. My littlest girl had just told him a joke last week and he stopped her b4 she got off the bus that evening and told her one.  Every morning he would tell each child at our bus stop good morning. My littlest one would always and wave and say hey Lee good morning. My older daughter was more shy she would just smile at him. Praying for his family during this difficult time. 🙏🏻  

lee was a very good person! my favorite part of the day was getting on the bus, because lee made the day so much more enjoyable! my favorite memory, is when we would sit in the front with lee and he would tell us riddles and then if we couldnt get it he would look at us in disbelief bc they were so easy lol. lee was so kind and happy all the time! he has made so many impacts on so many kids!! sending love and prayers to lee’s family and friends!!

Lee buddy we sure are gonna miss you! The news of you passing sure breaks our hearts. I grew up around you went to school with you then you became my kids bus drivers! I knew my babies were safe with you. You loved all your bus kids as you always called them. We sure had a lot of laughs over the years of you driving my 3 girls to school. I remember every spring the girls would each pick you a tiny boutique of whatever flowers they could grab waiting for you to come . It broke our hearts when you changed routes on us but an you made sure another good driver was going to drive your bus kids so we understood! We missed you tho . May you keep them laughing up in Heaven an when you see my mom an dad tell them I said hi an I'm sure mom can sit a share some of stories the kids have told us about you an riding the bus!!! Lee was a friend who wanted to make everyone in the room smile, and he did so with ease. Anyone who was meeting him for the first time was about to make a new friend. He would help anyone that was in need and wouldn't think twice about lending a hand. He loved his family immensely and made his friends feel just as special. I will miss him terribly, but I am so very thankful to have known such a wonderful person. I love you, my friend. 

Donetta, Fred and family,  it is with the it deepest sympathy I am writing.  Lee was a trooper, always polite a great man and super kid growing up.  I may not have been around much but I kept tabs on the family through Baby John.  To Donetta, my heart breaks for you.  But as you know there is a reason and God only knows the next steps.  Freddie my heart breaks for you also, you know it’s not supposed to be this way, children are supposed bury their parents, not parents bury you child.  Hold tight to God he will lead you through.  You all are in my every prayer and I have you on prayer chains throughout Charleston   God has this!  Love you guys!!!
