Wanda Shannon Phillips

October 7,1960 - December 9, 2022

Wanda Shannon Phillips went to rest on December 9, 2022 following a long illness. She was born in Summerville, WV to the late Buster and Gladys Deal.

Wanda was not just a wife, a momma, a sister, and a friend but she was an advocate for life. She was one of the most passionate and knowledgeable human beings.

Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She loved sharing her many talents with them: painting, cooking, baking, and telling stories. The laughter that she helped produce will forever be etched into our memories.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her sister Janie Boley, her niece Juanita Jenkins, as well as her father and mother in law Hobert and Sue Phillips Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory include so many!

They include her beloved husband of 41 years Hobert Phillips Jr. , daughter and son in law Rhonda and Matthew Dillon, daughter and son in law Stephanie and Seth Morgan, her grandkids Baustin, Paisley, and Arrow Morgan, and Gideon, Jonah, and Greta Dillon. Her sisters Carma Boley and Nancy Deal, sister in-laws Peggy Ward, and Patty Lyon. Her brothers Bucky, Steve, Denny, Todd, and Timmy Deal, and brother in law Rocky Phillips. Along with many other nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends.

No formal services will be held at this time, however, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
