Thomas Ray Parks, 63, of Beckley, WV passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the Bowers Hospice House – Beckley. He was born October 9, 1957 in Beckley, WV to the late Billie Parks and Lockie Thornton Parks.
Thomas was a veteran of the US Army with the MOS in Mechanized Armor. He enjoyed Martial Arts and fishing.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Gary Parks and David Parks.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Brandi Legg (Jeremy); son, Thomas Aaron Parks (Joleen); step daughter, Alecia Rakes; ex-wife and dear friend, Michelle Rakes; siblings, Sherry Grim (Charlie), Lonnie “Peanut” Parks (Candi), Diane Sturgill (John), Michael Parks; grandchildren, Audrey, Alyssa, and Connor.
Graveside services will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 10am.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice of Southern WV.
