She was born on December 28, 1969, to Virginia Thompson Gill and Richard Thompson in Beckley, West Virginia.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Collins.
She enjoyed being at the baseball field, the great outdoors, and helping others to the very end as an organ donor. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all that knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Mark Haney and wife Amanda; brother, Ricky Thompson and wife Donna; sisters, Charlotte Teague and Rebecca Lipford; grandchildren, Isaiah Haney, Hannah Haney, Khonor Haney, Raegan Haney, Landon Sutphin, Caden Sutphin, Easton Wright, and Zane McMillan; niece, Myra Redden; nephew, Buster Redden; and significant other, James Haney.
A Memorial service will be held at 8pm on Sunday, December 22, 2019, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.
Friends may gather with the family on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 5-8pm.
