Shelby Jean Bunch, 82, of Maple Fork, went home to be with the Lord on March 21, 2021.
Born July 31, 1938 in Crab Orchard; she was a daughter of the late William and Gladys Dixon Rhodes Sarver.
Shelby loved working puzzles, crocheting, collecting Barbie’s, and Porcelain Dolls, and attended Beckley Praise Church. She was a retired teacher, loving all 40 years prior to retiring. She taught for the Cleveland Board of Education and substituted in Raleigh County.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clyde Bunch and three brothers, Theodore Sarver, Robert Sarver, and William Sarver.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Daniel Bunch of Omaha, Michael Bunch of Maple Fork, and Jimmy Dunmire of Florida; two grandchildren, Sofia Bunch of Omaha and Michael Bunch, II of Daniels; a sister, Elsie Brinegar of Maple Fork; two brothers, Noah Sarver of Crab Orchard, and Charles Sarver of Grandview; extended family and friends.
Services to Celebrate her life will be held, 6:00PM Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Chapman officiating.
Friends may gather with the family from 5:00PM until time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
In keeping with the current mandate issued by the Governor of WV, and for the safety of all attending, facial coverings must be worn while in the building and social distancing must be practiced.
