Ruth Ann Walker

She was born January 30, 1944 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Ruth was employed at Lacontessa Beauty Salon. She was a member of Glen Morgan Missionary Baptist Church. Her faith in the Lord lived within her every day. She loved her family, church family and friends very much. She will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Gregory Alan Walker of Glen Morgan; sister, Nancy Rittenhouse; brothers, Tommy Rittenhouse and Bobby Rittenhouse.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Kenneth Walker of Glen Morgan; Kenneth’s father, O.D. Walker of Shady Spring; granddaughters, Brooke Walker and mother Rhonda Gibson of Newton, NC, and Tara Walker of Reinbeck, Iowa; sister, Debbie Ross and husband Joe of Port St. John, FL; brothers, Dale Rittenhouse, and John Rittenhouse and wife Ricki of Port St. John, FL; many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Glen Morgan Missionary Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of sympathy be sent to Glen Morgan Missionary Baptist Church.
