Roxie Ann James

Roxie Ann James, 63 years of age, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her home. Born on March 15, 1954 in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of the late Alex Joe Fernandez and Margie Adeline Jarrett Fernandez.

Mrs. James is survived by her husband of 46 years, John Paul James; daughter, Rebecca Diane Saul and husband, Robert; her son, Richard Joseph James and wife, Catherine; grandchildren, Jacob Paul James, Owen Cooper James, Alisa Boyce-James and Alex Joe Saul; step-grandchildren, Phylecia Carolyn Martin and her husband, Travis, and Robert Darrell Saul; great-grandson, Shane Allen Martin; and her brother, Michael Edward Fernandez.

She loved traveling with her husband, making crafts and crocheting. The crafts she made were given as gifts to her family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday afternoon, January 6, 2018 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Hall officiating. At the request of the family, Committal Services will be held in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will be held privately in the family cemetery in Coal City, WV.
