Ronald Dale Shuck, 75, of Maple Fork, West Virginia passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025. Born on September 20, 1949, at Backus Mountain, he was the son of the late Pershing and Delphine Adkins Shuck. Ronald was a US Navy Veteran and worked as a coal miner for 30 years. He was a dedicated runner and participated in marathons and other related events throughout his life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Connie Jean Shuck, brothers Junior Shuck and Billy Shuck and sisters Bonnie Shuck Harrah, Betty Shuck Cole and Patricia Shuck Bone.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons Brian Shuck of Gordonsville, TN and Donald Shuck of Fayetteville; Long-time companion Patty Brown of Oak Hill; sister Judith Farley of Layland; nieces and nephews: Sherry Evans, Mary Ferrell, Mike Bone, Becky Pack, Melissa Menei, Dee Clark, Pamela Pack, Angela Farley, Tammy Cole, and Tim Cole; and a host of great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Graveside rites with military honors to celebrate the life of Ronald Dale Shuck will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mike Belcher officiating. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
