Roger Davis of Maple Fork passed away peacefully at home on January 11, 2018. He was born on July 27, 1954 in Beckley, WV. He was the son of the late Harry and Evelyn Jean Davis. Roger was a welder and worked in the coal mines many years as well as worked at the Brake Supply Co. He loved to garden and enjoyed sharing with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting and being with family. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Delores Davis; son Gregory (Daphne) A. Farrell of Charleston, WV; grandson Adam Farrell of SC; sister Maxine Gaye Taylor of Maple Fork; brother Ben Davis of SC; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Roger was loved and cherished by a host sister and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 12 PM – 2 PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.
