Mr. Roger MacArthur Ballard

Roger MacArthur Ballard, 75, of Beckley passed away on July 7, 2017 due to a long illness. Born May 15, 1942, in Saxon, he was the son of Melvin and Eva Ballard. Roger attended Harper Heights Church, enjoyed restoring old cars and talking to old friends. He is survived by his loving wife June Lee Bell of 53 years; sons, Roger Dale and wife Tammy, Jeffery Scott and Brad Allen Ballard; grandchildren, Tara Lynn, Ryan Scott, Andrew Tre and Eva Cherie; great granddaughter, Ella Grace. Friends may gather with the family Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley from 6 – 8 pm. Funeral service will follow on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 1 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor James Johnson officiating. Ryan Ballard, Tre Ballard, Steve Collins, Roger Pierce, Freddy Fox and Randy Williams will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
