Robert Harold Duncan

He was born on November 2, 1965 in Beckley, WV to Ruby Mae Duncan Murphy. He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in 1984 and worked at North Beckley PSD for the last 28 1/2 years.

Robert enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved hunting, trapping, camping, gardening, boating, and taking care of his small farm. He loved a challenge and could repair and build just about anything. Most of all, he was a devoted husband, father, and son.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Duncan of Sophia. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother and stepfather Earl Murphy of Beckley; his loving wife of 27 years, Debbie (Moore) Duncan; sons Robert Duncan Jr. of Beckley, John Duncan and wife Samantha of Grandview, and Jaylen Duncan of White Oak; grandmother Edith Duncan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who will miss him dearly.

A private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 pm with Pastor Davey Duncan officiating. Services may be viewed via Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/blueridgefuneral/ . Interment will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
