Raymond Evertte Honaker

Raymond E. Honaker, 66 of Caldwell, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the Peyton Hospice House after losing his battle with multiple cancers. He was born April 1, 1955, in Caldwell, WV to the late Raymond and June Honaker.

He was a lifetime employee of CSXT and a member of the T-3 family. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed mushrooming, ramp digging, hunting, and fishing. He was well known for his raging campfires and was the life of the party. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his wife, Brenda after 32 years of marriage; two children, a daughter Robin and husband Matt Jones from Crows, VA, and a son James and Kristin Honaker from Alderson WV; 6 grandchildren, Abigale Jones, Colten Jones, Gabriela Carver, Brenden Honaker, Lilly Ramsey, and River Ramsey; three sisters, Barbara Morgan from Ohio, Brenda and Ricky Hackett from Dillwyn VA, Carolyn and Jerry Cottle from Charleston, WV; several special nieces and nephews and dear friends.

A celebration of life will be in the spring at Moncove Lake, Monroe County WV.
