Orville graduated from Mark Twain High School in Stotesbury, WV. He retired from the Air Force after serving his country for 21 years, during which he served in Vietnam, after his service he retired from the Princeton Healthcare Center as Director of Maintenance. During his free time he enjoyed, four-wheeling, hunting and fishing, working on cars, and NASCAR. He loved his wife and sons, and enjoyed travelling with them.
He will be reunited with his parents, brothers; Frank, Pat, Aubrey, Danny, and sister; Eleanor.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 67 years, two sons; Ray A. Hatcher and his wife Barbara and Daryl D. Hatcher, his granddaughter; Carrie Avis, and great grandchildren.
Orville will have a memorial service Monday, May 22nd at Hollywood Memorial Baptist Church at 2 PM, services will be conducted by Mike Isom. The family will receive visitors at 1 PM. Blue Ridge Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Hatcher family.
