Norman David Dearing

Norman David Dearing, age 71, husband of Teresa Dearing of Corbin, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at his residence. He was the father of Kimberly Dawn Bowyer and husband Paul of Purcellville, Virginia; the brother of Patricia Ann Rappold of Roanoke, Virginia, and Kay Ella Ellison and husband Marshall of Edenton, North Carolina; the step-father of Ronald Buck of Daniels, West Virginia, and Thomas Ferraiuolo of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was also blessed with one granddaughter, Brynlee Bowyer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Alexander Dearing and Greta Ann (Arthur) Dearing; and by his brother-in-law, Thomas Rappold. Dave was a true outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish, and garden. The only friend Dave did not have was someone he had never met. He lit up the party with his ballroom dancing and loved sports. He was such a great family man. There will be a viewing at the Peace Mausoleum at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley, WV this Friday, February 5th from 1-2 pm, with a service following at 2:00 pm. A celebration of life will be held at Cumberland Falls,Kentucky this Spring in memory of Dave.
