

Neva was a devoted housewife and a Christian of the Pentecostal Faith. She loved to raise flowers and caring for her garden. She also enjoyed reading her Bible, watching the Andy Griffith Show, The Price is Right and religious singing. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lendo Polk of 66 years; two sons, Melvin and Michael Polk; great granddaughter, Skyler Taylor; four brothers, Gene Price, Darold Price, David Price, and Ray Price.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Barbara Dickens and husband Ralph of Midway, WV, Sharon Milam and husband Randy of Beckley, WV; 6 grandchildren, Eddie Polk (Crissy) of Coal City, Michael Polk of Coal City, Pamela Wallace (Thomas) of Crab Orchard, Brian Polk (Brittany) of Cool Ridge, April Taylor (Jon) of Fayetteville, Crystal Kennedy and fiancé Michael Britz of Sneads Ferry, NC; 11 great grandchildren, Amber Polk, Andrew Polk, Kristen Polk, Katlyn Polk, Catherine Wallace, Sarah Polk, Alivia Polk, Christian Dickens, Alexis Sandoval, Jasper Rash, and Cole Taylor; one great great granddaughter, Emma Rose Sandoval.
Neva was the oldest of 13 children. She is survived by 3 brothers, Delbert Price of Richmond, VA, Ronnie Price of Willis, VA, and Donnie Price of Midway, WV; 5 sisters, Judy Chenault of VA, Shirley Maxey of MacArthur, WV, Elizabeth Wemple of IN, Carol Tyree of Camp Creek, WV and Louise Edwards of IN.
Mom, until we meet you in Heaven we love you more- 12345. What a blessing you are to us! Thank you for being our Mother (The Best) our Angel. You will be in our hearts forever!
