Mrs. Mary Meredith Weaver

Mary would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, a sort of offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. Upon her arrival she was anxiously greeted by family and friends she had not seen in a very long time. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be strolling through heaven with her beloved husband Rodney “Butch” Weaver, gardening with her daddy George Rogusky, and cooking with her mommy Lillie Creed Rogusky. The food will be delicious, and you’ll never gain an ounce. Mary found the beauty in things most people didn’t, one being the rain. When a drop falls from heaven know that she is near. She left detailed instructions for her daughters, granddaughters, beloved niece, and those within her inner circle to celebrate her life and “do what makes you happy”. Failure to do so will not be tolerated.

Her smile was vibrant, and her laugh was contagious. Her legacy will continue through those left to cherish her memories: Juinell “Tish” Smith, Barbara “Barbie” Smith, Micah Cassie Bolen, Jessica “Jesse” Lilly, Katy “Kate” Lilly, Louise Walker, Alice Allen, Renda Long, and Debbie Busch. In addition, she leaves behind her little companions, Dillon Kyle Weaver and Abbie Dale, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

We want to let her know that she did a great job and made a difference in so many lives. We wish her a safe journey. We will be sharing memories and celebrating her life Sunday evening , August 11th, 4:00pm-6:00pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. On Monday, August 12th , 1:00pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home we will be saying our final goodbye.
