Mary Catherine Adkins

She was the daughter of the late William Fisher Smith and Alma Eva Smith of Stanaford, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Ruben Adkins, Jr; daughter, Dianna Adkins; and brother Eugene Stump.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 57 years, Ruben Adkins, Sr.; daughter, Tamara Jones and husband Jimmy Jones; two brothers, Thomas Fisher Smith and Dougal Baird Smith and wife, Linda Smith; grandchildren, Deanna Jones, Jimmy Dale Jones and wife, Alyson Jones, Colten Adkins and Mika Hatfield, and Cody Adkins; five great-grandchildren, Elena Jones, Adalynn Jones-Tilly, Bethany Jones Clark, Lainey Jones-Clark, and Stevie Lee Adkins; best friend, Margaret Tincher and many extended family and friends.

Services will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, May 27th, 2024 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Friends may gather with the family Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at 12:00PM.
