Lowell “Squeak” Elton Smith, 70, of Piney View went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2022 at Bowers Hospice House – Beckley. Lowell was born September 11, 1951 in Red Springs, Meadow Bridge, WV to the late Leo Smith and Viva Fox Smith.
Lowell was a member of the Stanaford New Beginnings Church and the Masons. He was a lover of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Iona, Patsy, and Martha Smith; and one brother, Paul (Barbara) Smith; and his beloved dog, Tootsie.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 50 years, Deborah Kincaid Smith; daughter, Stephanie (John) Smith; son, Mark Smith; grandson, Levi Smith; sister, Mary (Craig) Meadows; brothers, Thomas (Claire), Billie (Peggy), Jimmie (Sharon), and Winston (Jan) Smith.
In keeping with his wishes Lowell will be cremated with burial following at a later date.
