Linda Mae Williams

Linda Mae Williams, 66 of Oak Hill, WV, the daughter of the late James and Bertie Jack went to meet God on October 13 at Pittsburgh University’s Mercy Hospital. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one Brother Franklin Jack and two Sisters Wanda Settle and Brenda Plumley. Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 40 years Lawson Williams, her son Jr. Williams and his wife Christine, her daughter Connie Merritt and her husband James; one sister Betty Taylor and her husband Larry; Three Grandchildren Rebecca Merritt, Madilyn Williams and Jacob Williams along with several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. Linda was employed by the A&P Store in Oak Hill for six years and volunteered much of her time at Oak Hill Elementary and Collins Middle School. Linda enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. Linda will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. Friends may gather with the family Tuesday,October 18, 2016 from 6-8pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 2pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
