Landon Raymond Meadows

Landon Raymond Meadows, 88, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 in Beckley, WV. Born on January 8, 1931 in Barn, WV, he was the son of the late John Leslie Meadows and Ina Mae Foley Meadows. Landon enlisted in the United State Air Force and was a retired employee of the State of West Virginia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Fredia Colleen Meadows; a sister, Rosa Mills; and a brother, Thomas Meadows.

He is survived by his sons, Eddie Meadows and his wife, Alberta of Cool Ridge, Russell Meadows of Cool Ridge; daughter, Vivian Lester and her husband, Gary of Beaver; his grandchildren, Justin Bragg and his wife, Megan of Cool Ridge, Michael Meadows of Pluto, WV, Charity Bragg of Cool Ridge, Jessica Hutchens of Eccles, Homer Lester and his wife, Alisha of Princeton, Casey Meadows of Cool Ridge; and great-grandchildren, Emma and Amelia Hutchens, Kayleigh, Landon, and Waylon Meadows, Chloe Bragg and Jase Lester.

Services with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 26, 2019 in the Hope Mausoleum of Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may gather beginning at 1:00 pm in the Hope Mausoleum.
