Kenneth L. Williams, 77, of Bradley, WV, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2019 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lovell and Goldie Williams; and his daughter, Debbie Gambill.
He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1960. He served one year in the Army Reserves and four years in the United States Air Force. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Morris Harvey College in Charleston. He was also a Master Electrician and received his certificate from the Academy of Careers and Technology.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carolyn Vandall Williams of the home; his daughter, Cheryl Baume of Beckley; one brothers, Donald Williams and his wife, Kendall Williams of Whittier, CA; one sister, Carol Williams of Beckley; two grandsons, Jeremy Mayer of Hagerstown, MD and Jesse Mayer and his wife, Regina Mayer of Washington D.C.; three nieces, Kimberly Volker and husband, Gary Volker of Arlington, VA, Michelle Kongkasuwan of Spindale, CA, Tiffany Basham of Beckley, and Alicia Glennon and her husband, Jeremy of Whittier, CA; one nephew, Steven Williams and his wife, Jennifer of Georgetown, TX; four great nieces, Rebekah Volker of Arklington, VA, Brittany Williams of Spindale, CA, Ashlyn Williams of Spokane, WA, and Reagan Williams of Georgetown, TX; and three great nephews, Troy Williams of Georgetown, TX, Tommy Williams of Georgetown, TX, and Zachary Basham of Beckley.
A Celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Bradley Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Peters officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the church. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
A dinner will be held for family and friends at Bradley Freewill Baptist Church following the graveside service. His church family was very important to him and his family also during his illness, following the graveside services.
