Katie Merie Cline 86 of Beckley passed this life on Saturday, September 27, 2014.

Born February 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mollie Ball.

Katie enjoyed fishing, sewing, gardening, quilting and gospel music.

In addition to her parents, Katie is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Arley Cline; beloved son, Arley R. Cline Jr. (Sonny); and sister Velda Rogers.

Those left to cherish her memory include her nieces, nephews, and friends from Old Grove Road.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Rev. Billy Hall, III and Rev. Keith Coulter, Jr. officiating. Friends from Old Gove Road will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Friends may gather with the family Thursday from 1 – 2 PM at the funeral home.
