John H. Crookshanks, Jr, 77, of Rainelle, WV passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
Born April 17, 1945; he was a son of the late John H. Crookshanks, Sr and the late Thelma Kirk Crookshanks.
John served his country proudly in the US Army; John graduated from WVU; he loved farming, and was the Owner and Operator of Crookshanks Builder Supply Company for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Crookshanks; a brother, David Crookshanks; and a nephew, Christopher Crookshanks.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Amanda Kennedy and husband, Robert of Bradley; three grandchildren, Logan Kennedy, McKinley Kennedy, and John Wyatt Kennedy all of Bradley, a brother, Ronald Crookshanks of Rainelle; a nephew, Ryan Crookshanks of Nallen; extended family and friends.
In keeping with John’s wishes there will be no formal services.
