Janice Marlene Belcher

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick J. Belcher; mother, Margaret Zornes; brothers, Billy Lee Bradford and Garland Ray Zornes.

Surviving son, Patrick A. Belcher, and daughter, Melinda M. King; 5 grandchildren, Mariah, Maranda, Zach, Summer and Siarra; 4 great grandchildren, Matthew, MaKenna, Landon, and Tucker; 2 sisters, Donna Harper, Helen Thompson and her husband Rick; one brother; 4 step brothers; 3 step sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The legacy she leaves behind is one built on faith and prayer. A lifestyle that few have lived but many have witnessed in her life. One of selflessness, love and compassion. Always telling about Jesus, offering words of encouragement, lifting up any and all that felt cast down or hopeless. When she stepped on the shores of glory, what Heaven gained, earth has lost. One of the greatest warrior and servants ever lived and served on the battlefield for God, received her promotion and honorable discharge. Now standing before the General and Great Judge to receive the highest honors and rewards given by the king himself. The victor’s crown, the robe of righteousness along with many other rewards for all her works of love.

Funeral Service will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 5:00 pm.

Friends may gather with the family from 3:00 – 5:00 pm
