Mr. Jack Willard Bowman Jr.

Jack Willard Bowman, Jr. of Beaver, WV went home to be with his heavenly Father on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on February 15, 1963 in Beckley, Jack was the son of Jack Willard Bowman (deceased) and Ella (Cubby) Collins Bowman.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Stephanie and son Chase; his mother, Ella Bowman; sisters, Mary Ellen Terry (Big Sis) and husband, Clayton, Linda Williams (Little Sis), and husband, Frank; his mother-in-law, Suzy Bragg and husband, Dexter; father-in-law, Dale Crookshanks and wife, Shari; sister-in-law, Danise Boqqs; nieces, Sarah Tussey (Ryan), Rachel Weis (Rodney), and nephews, Phillip Williams and Marcus Folks; great-niece, Sydni Weis and great-nephew, Eli Williams.

Jack was devoted to his many friends and co-workers. He was presently employed by CSX Railroad and previously employed as Area Manager at Georgia Pacific and General Electric.

Jack was an avid car and sports lover, especially baseball which he took great pleasure in teaching and watching Chase and his young teammates.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Rev. Everett Fraley officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 6 -8 PM at the funeral home. Private family entombment will follow at a later date. Pallbearers will be John Maynard, Steve Maynard, Greg Lane, Jeff Moran, Charlie Burgess, and Bobby Bolen. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe and Douglas Falasco.

The family will receive friends at the home of Clayton and Mary Ellen Terry Saturday, July 19, 2014, located at 4 Cedar Ridge Lane, Beckley, WV.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley, WV, 25801 in memory of our beloved Jack.
