Mr. Harold Paul McDaniel

Born June 6, 1936 in Sandstone, WV; he was the eldest son of the late Horace J. McDaniel and the late Agnes O’Conner McDaniel.

Harold was a 1954 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, and was of the Christian Faith. He had a very welcoming spirit, never met a stranger, fun to be around, and was loved by all of his friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Paula McDaniel of 62 years; a son, Stanley McDaniel; and several family members and friends that he was reunited with when he stepped into eternity.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Angela Vest and husband, Richard of Hampton, VA; son, Kenneth McDaniel of Hague, VA; son, Stuart McDaniel of Piney View, WV; and daughter, Shelly Stafford and husband, Vince of Stafford, VA; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and their families; numerous siblings and their families; including extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Harold Paul McDaniel will be held 2:00PM Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley. Following the services, Harold will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Paula at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. Brad Vest, Jacob Vest, Michael Vest, Matthew Stafford, Kyle McDaniel, and Ian McDaniel will be serving as pallbearers.

Friends may gather with the family from 12:00PM until time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
