Geraldine Pearl Daniel

Geraldine P. Daniel, 92, of Beckley, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Dea Graham and Mary Lambert Graham. Born June 1, 1924 in Amigo, WV. Geraldine was a member of Bethel Freewill Baptist Church in MacArthur and was a dedicated and willing active participant in church events until several years ago when she became disabled. Mrs. Graham was formerly employed by various small department stores in the local area. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Vincent Daniel; sisters, Grethel McKinney and Lena Graham; brothers, Hanzel Clayton Graham and Harold Freeman Graham and brothers-in-law, Nathan McKinney and Lee Daugherty. Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Jacqueline Daugherty of Princeton; sisters-in-law, Barbara Graham and Oma Graham; many step children and their families along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A private family service will be held. The family would like to extend their gratitude to two of her special support people- her step sons, Vince Daniel and Bob Daniel. Upon the death of their father (Gerry’s husband), these two were so dedicated to assist Gerry and her sister Lena for so many years. Also, a special thank you to her kind, compassionate caregivers, Phyllis (Annie) Lambert, Connie Underwood and Clara Gray.
