George enjoyed hunting and loved working with his hands. He retired from the mines as a Federal Mine Inspector. After retirement he worked as a contractor building houses.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Betty, Linda, Sue; brothers, Frankie, Bobby, and Harrison.
Those left to cherish his memory include siblings, Virginia and Mike; his loving children, Lisa, Jeff, Brian and 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 at William Kidwell Cemetery, Table Rock Road, WV 2:00pm. With Pastor Lum Toney officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 1:30 to the time of the service.
